Goals
THE CLIENT'S GOAL was to create a t-shirt design to help celebrate their child’s end of cancer treatment Bell Ringing Ceremony. A front and back design was created for the t-shirt, with the back design being significantly detailed, illustrating the cancer journey my client’s child went through.
Approach
I decided to use a hand drawn, comic book approach. Comic book characters were used throughout the child’s cancer journey to help symbolize strength. I felt that tying up all the elements of the journey through the comic book style would be a great way to symbolize the child’s fight against cancer with them being the hero of their own battle.
